Now for the next step. Saying that something "is good" or "is big". It seems strange to English speakers, but Semitic languages like Hebrew don't normally use the present tense of the "to be" verb. Instead of saying "He is a good friend", Israeli speakers just say "He friend good".

"ZEH" and "ZOT" are masculine and feminine equivalent of the English word "this".
