Numbers in Hebrew are either Masculine or Feminine, and must match the gender of the noun with which they are attached.
When counting, the feminine numbers are used.
NOTE: The masculine numbers 3-10 end with the “AH” sound, which you might normally associate with feminine nouns.
There aren’t any great explanations, that just the way it is; and we didn’t make a mistake labeling this page.
